SELF THERAPY FOR STAMMERING

Hello guys....


So today im going to discuss the SELF THERAPY TO OVERCOME STAMMERING.
As we know that stammering is not any mental illness but a psycological problem. So the following theropy will going to help you to overcome the stammering problem.

so these are the SELF THERAPY.




1) MAKE HABBIT OF ALWAYS TALKING SLOW.

2) WHEN YOU START TO TALK MAKE IT FLOW EASILY AND GENTLY.

3) STUTTER OPENLY AND DONT PRETEND TO HIDE IT.

4) IDENTIFY AND ELIMINATE VARIOUS UNWANTED GESTURE WHILE  TALKING.

5) MAINTAIN EYE CONTACT WITH A PERSON YOU ARE TALKING.

6) TRY TO TALK AS MUCH YOU CAN DO.


So these are the steps.
Now we will see the meaning of each step so that you can understand properly what exactly you should do to overcome your problem.



1) MAKE HABIT OF ALWAYS TALKING SLOW-

Its better to go too slow rather than getting stammering while talking fast.First thing you should
always follow to talk in slow manner. Obviously you will feel uncomfortable while talking in slow manner but remember one thing "the thing which don't challenge you will not change you".
Some people tries to speak the words before they stumble or block, this will leads to pressure and stammering occurs.
So always talk slowly and take pause between the sentences so that you can take your own time to speak your words slowly and properly.



2) WHEN YOU START TO TALK MAKE IT FLOW  EASILY AND GENTLY-

When you talk always talk freely and smoothly without getting any pressure while talking.
What happen is that most stammerer try to speak it in such tension that they try to speak in by taking so much pressure on them.The pressure in scene having fear in mind about stammering.
So remember this thing to always use soft way to start conversation and keep the gentle flow of speech without talking any pressure back in mind.


3) STUTTER OPENLY AND DON'T PRETEND TO HIDE IT-

 What the stutter make mistake is that they always pretend to show that they are not stutter and try to hind their stammering, but here only problem starts. When you try to hide your problem it will be always in your mind that you should hide this.It will always in your subconscious mind and
when you try to speak the subconscious mind play what your hiding and you gets stutter.So always fell free and don't think about anything just present your self as you are that will reduce the  chances of getting stammer




4) IDENTIFY AND ELIMINATE VARIOUS UNWANTED   GESTURE WHILE TALKING-

When you observe yourself while talking you will come to know that you are doing some gestures or doing some muscles moment.Do carefully observe yourself and try to eliminate that gesture, as you eliminate such unwanted gestures you will feel free and open.


5)MAINTAIN EYE CONTACT 

Many persons who stutters always try to avoid the eye-contact with the person they are talking as they feel ashamed of them self.If you don't make eye contact it will reduces your self confidence which eventually leads to stammer.Always have eye contact without having any shame or fear in your mind.


6) TRY TO TALK AS MUCH YOU CAN DO-

What many stutterer do is that by having the fear of stammering they will stop talking to others and keeps their feelings emotions in their only, this will leads to anxiety and creates pressure.
Does not matter how much you stammer always speaks and open your mouth, nobody is going to kill you if you stammer.So always express your emotions and views.
